Reporting a calculation issue

Include the rule-set version shown on the page, the affected calculation stage, and a privacy-safe description of the expected result. Do not email your Social Security number, complete earnings record, date of birth, or other sensitive personal information.

Correction process

We compare reported issues with the cited SSA source, add a reproducible test when appropriate, correct shared calculation or content causes, and update the displayed rule version or review date when a change affects results.
